Kerr began writing and illustrating for children in her forties, and some fifty years later was still producing bestselling books. The Mog series now runs to seventeen titles in numerous editions worldwide. Her semiautobiographical novel When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, about her family's escape from Germany in 1933, is widely read and used in schools to teach what it is like to be a refugee.
Written by Joanna Carey, who had unrestricted access to Kerr and her archive, this volume draws on never-before-seen visual materials to explore the backstory behind Kerr's popular books and how she worked. The result is both a celebration of her classic work and an intimate account of her long and remarkable career.

RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
