We’re an independent, family-owned shop dedicated to kids and the kids-at-heart based in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). We search high and low for thoughtful, playful, and beautiful treasures: clothes, toys books, homeware, stationery, art supplies, and other objects designed for the whole family to enjoy. We believe in fun for all and in the power of play to bring us closer.
We look for products that are fit for purpose, well-made, long lasting, and good looking. We research the brands we’d like to carry to make sure that they are committed to manufacturing responsibly and with care. We prioritize companies, artists and makers that have a considered approach to the packaging and materials that they use. We also select our own packaging and shipping supplies carefully to ensure everything is either recyclable or compostable. Above all, we make sure that everything we offer is designed to bring joy to you and your family. Because the most environmentally friendly product is the one that’s truly loved.
We offer a well-curated experience that aligns with our aesthetic point of view and values and is built upon personal curation by real humans and not an algorithm. If we don’t love it, we don’t stock it – it’s that simple! We’re also committed to supporting our local, Hamilton-based customers with pop-ups and other events tailored to their needs.
Our orders ship from our brick-and-mortar shop located in Hamilton, ON. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing.
We offer CAD 12 standard shipping and 2-day expedited shipping for CAD 25 on orders to most Canadian Provinces (some exceptions for large items apply, as noted in the product details). Free shipping for orders shipped within Canada is available for orders CAD 200+ (before taxes) to all provinces except NU, NT, and YT, and free shipping on orders over CAD $30 to NU, NT and YT. At this time, we only offer standard, tracked international shipping to the US and Europe. If you are located elsewhere, please do reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'd be happy to consider shipping outside of our pre-designated shipping destinations on a case-by-case basis.
US standard shipping is CAD 25, and standard shipping to Europe is CAD 35. We cannot guarantee an arrival date for our international shipments. All international orders are tracked.
At the time we are only able to accept exchanges or returns in exchange for store credit within 14 days of initial receipt, at your own expense. Please see our Shipping & Returns page here for a more detailed description of the return process.
