Justin Worsley's One Fine Day, or How a Fart Sorted Things Out starts with two neighbours planning the same morning at the same lake. Moose is heading down with his paints to work on the view. Bear has had beans for breakfast, packed bean sandwiches for later, and is heading down to fish. They collide at the water, nobody apologizes, and the two of them end up nose to nose in a standoff that neither is willing to walk away from first. The subtitle says how it ends.
Much of the humour is in what the pictures show and the words leave out, so it rewards a slow read-aloud with time to look. For every kid who thinks fart is the funniest word there is, and every grown-up who has watched two people refuse to back down over nothing.

RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
