Home Home's Crocodile Pennant is a long felt wall hanging designed by Jon Klassen and handmade by his mother, Karen, a single green crocodile running the full length of a heavy wool felt base.
The crocodile is hand-cut from felt and hand-sewn onto the base, all snout and zigzag back, with two eyes at the front and no apparent plan to hurry. It is the one to reach for when a wide, empty wall needs something long, green, and faintly up to something.
A dowel is sewn into the top edge, with a string for hanging, so it sits flat against the wall. Each is numbered by hand, though the edition is open rather than limited.

A pennant makes a good gift on its own, or alongside one of Jon Klassen's books or greeting cards.
Orders within Canada ship via Canada Post or UPS. Orders to the United States will ship via Purolator, with delivery completed by UPS, or via DHL Express Worldwide, selectable at checkout. A Canada Post service, with delivery completed by USPS, is available on request; please contact us for a quote. Orders to Australia and the United Kingdom will ship via DHL Express Worldwide, or via Canada Post, with final delivery completed by the local postal carrier. For all other destinations, please contact us for a shipping quote.
Any duties, taxes, tariffs, and customs processing fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are not collected at checkout. Duties-prepaid shipping can be arranged directly with us by email at hello@parkette.ca.
Due to its size, the Crocodile Pennant is oversized and is excluded from free shipping within Canada.
Home Home is a collaboration between Jon Klassen and his mother, Karen Klassen. Jon, an author and illustrator, designs each pennant. Karen makes them by hand. He is in one country and she is in another, and the work moves between them, home to home. The shapes and colours hold the same quiet, graphic character as Jon's illustration work, brought into felt.

AB, MB & SK: CAD $15 standard shipping, CAD $35 1 -2 DAY EXPEDITED shipping, and free shipping to on orders over CAD $250 before tax.
BC, NB, NS & PEI: CAD $20 standard shipping, CAD $40 1 -2 DAY EXPEDITED shipping, and free shipping to on orders over CAD $300 before tax.
NL, NU, NT & YT: CAD $25 standard shipping.
Local pickup option available at checkout during store business hours (if you need to pick up your order outside of store hours, please email us at hello@parkette.ca and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs). An email will be sent when your order is ready for pickup. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Some items have non-standard dimensions and may incur additional shipping charges. If needed, we will contact you after your purchase to inform you.
RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
