Corpse de Ballet by Megan Kearney is a graphic novel set at Saint Anselmus, a competitive all-girls ballet school where Rosamund Hammond arrives partway through her final year. The student whose place she has taken left on what the school calls a leave of absence. Her new roommate Eugenie does not believe a word of it.
The two of them start asking questions while the school rehearses its senior showcase of Coppélia, and the answers keep getting stranger. Megan is a Toronto cartoonist who came out of animation and webcomics, and she draws the whole book in dense blue-toned ink, with chapters broken up by the five basic positions of the feet. Dark academia with real teeth.

RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
