Circus of Shadows by Lidia Branković is a beautifully illustrated picture book about a girl named Lika whose shadow starts acting on its own. When Lika waves a hand, Shadow raises a foot. When Lika sits down, Shadow stands up. The harder Lika tries to hide, the bigger Shadow becomes — until Shadow whisks her off to a strange land of shadows and right into a spooky shadow circus. To find her way home, Lika has to look inward and make peace with the parts of herself she's been trying to ignore.
A follow-up to Branković's acclaimed debut, The Grand Hotel of Feelings, this is a thoughtful, gentle story about self-acceptance — told with rich, atmospheric artwork that makes the shadow world feel both eerie and inviting.

Some items have non-standard dimensions and may incur additional shipping charges. If needed, we will contact you after your purchase to inform you.
RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
