IELLO's King of Tokyo: Godzilla is the dice-rolling monster brawl King of Tokyo, now with Toho's real kaiju in it for the first time. Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, Rodan, Hedorah and Mechagodzilla take the six spots, drawn in the style of the Showa-era films of the 1950s through 70s, and each comes as a standee on a wooden base with its own monster board.
The game is designed by Richard Garfield and plays like a very loud round of Yahtzee. Roll the dice up to three times to collect energy, heal, score points or attack. Whoever holds Tokyo scores extra each turn but can't heal and takes every hit, so the question is always how long to stay put. Energy buys power cards from a shared deck, and this edition adds Event cards to that deck, which land on all monsters at once, plus 48 Evolution cards that give each kaiju its own upgrades. First to 20 points or the last monster standing wins.
This Canadian printing includes an exclusive seventh monster, Castor Van Dam, a beaver with ambitions.

It began by selling trading cards, moved into distribution, and started publishing its own games in 2009. King of Tokyo, designed by Richard Garfield, arrived in 2011 and has sold more than a million copies since.

RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
