On a snowy day, a young girl named Kikko sets off through the woods after realizing her father has forgotten the pie he promised to bring to Grandma’s house. Following his footprints, she comes upon a large house she’s never seen before. Curious, she peers inside and is startled to meet a small lamb wearing a coat and carrying a purse, who gently asks if she has come for the tea party.
What follows is an unexpected and dreamlike encounter, where Kikko finds herself welcomed into a gathering of animals for an elegant tea in the woods. As the afternoon unfolds, the familiar gives way to the magical, and the boundary between imagination and reality begins to blur.
Told with spare text and atmospheric illustrations rendered mostly in black and white, with subtle touches of red and yellow, this original fairy tale creates a hushed, immersive mood. Kikko’s mix of curiosity, courage, and quiet hesitation feels deeply relatable, and the story’s ambiguous ending invites readers to linger and wonder what truly happened. Some items have non-standard dimensions and may incur additional shipping charges. If needed, we will contact you after your purchase to inform you.
RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
