We think this much is true . . . Once upon a time, before time even existed, all matter in the universe was concentrated on a single point a fraction of the size of an atom. And then? And then it exploded.
This sumptuous and poetic celebration of Earth's origin story tells the remarkable tale of life from its first iteration as a single cell through the planet's various phases of evolution and extinction to the strange, uncertain place we find ourselves in today. Factual in its content, but lyrical in its expression, Life (As We Know It) captures the unlikely magic and strange beauty that is at the heart of life on Earth and acknowledges how little we really understand about how we ended up here. We tell our children stories of apples and snakes, of gods and monsters. But the creation story told by science is more perplexing and incredible than any we could ever make up.

Some items have non-standard dimensions and may incur additional shipping charges. If needed, we will contact you after your purchase to inform you.
RETURNS
Online orders can be returned within 14 days of initial receipt. If more than 14 days have gone by since the initial receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t accept your return or exchange.
Please contact us at hello@parkette.ca with your request before returning an item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. A return authorization number must be included in your return. All returned purchases will either be issued a store credit or exchange minus the initial shipping charge. We are a small family-owned business and unfortunately cannot offer any refunds at this time.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. Items must be unworn, and tags still attached. All footwear must have no creasing or damage to the soles to be returned. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or magazines cannot be returned.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to help as best we can. Please note that due to recent changes in our payment processor’s policies, canceled orders will incur a 3% cancellation fee. This fee helps cover the non-refundable processing costs associated with your original payment. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
